Ever the innovator, Annie Sloan does it again!

Annie Sloan Painted Chest inspired by Paul KleeIn her latest blog post, Annie Sloan, the dynamic inventor of  Chalk Paint® decorative paint, finds new inspiration in the paintings of Paul Klee.

Paul Klee was born on December 18, 1879, in Münchenbuchsee, near Bern, Switzerland. His highly developed sense of color and style were greatly influenced by the expressionist, surrealist, and cubist art movements.

As Annie explains,  she viewed an exhibition of Klee’s works during a recent visit to the Making Visible Exhibition at Tate Modern. Ever the colorist, Klee’s approach to the layering of color stimulated Annie to recreate this outstanding chest with her world renown  Chalk Paint® decorative paint.
